Welcome
It was a beautiful June evening in 2009 that we sat down at The Corner Park in Ashland to try to come up with a way that we could take God outside of the church walls and unify the Christian men of Ashland county. The news reports aren't comforting and we want to do something which would honor God, benefit the community, and strengthen us as a body. Our scripture base was Phillipians 2:2, that we would unify the men of Ashland Community in one mind and one accord. We see the need for Christian men to talk to each other, to have a friend that will tell us when we cross the line. We need older guys who will listen to the young guys and come along side of them with solid advise in a humble spirit that desires to help. Is there any reason that men's groups shouldn't be networking together, it would benefit the kingdom and the community. The bottom line is that we are trying to call the Christian community of men together. In order for this to happen, we gather in Christ's name only. We must leave our denomination at the door. This is not about proselitizing other churches. The effort needs to come from lay men. This is not another burden for the pastor.
We are working to make this web site a resource for information about what is going on in the community. We'll list your men's group. We'll post your events on our calender and, if possible, add a link to your churches web site so you can check out what's going on. We'll list your business, as an encouragement to you and a resource for people looking for your service. There are lots of organiztions out there who are serving God in the community that could maybe use volunteers, but certainly could use your prayers. We'll list them. Can you imagine the encouragement of seeing God move in the community and know that it's the things you have been praying for? We're flexible enough that if there is something you would like to see, we could try it.
Please pray for us as we serve you. Thanks.
